What mediums can be used in the sketchbook?
That's an easy question: any!
There's only a few things to watch out for and consider:
- Make sure paint or other materials dry after every page you work so that the pages don't stick together.
- Remember that your book is traveling around the country and will hopefully be held by many hands. Make sure to use sturdy materials.
- We don't recommend tying your book closed shut, as it will probably fall off quickly due to so many people handling the ties.
- Make sure everything is bound/attached to the book. If you have loose items or unbound pages inside of the book, they are very likely to fall out and get lost forever!
- Please refrain all urges of using glitter in your book. This is basically the most important thing to remember. Not only does it end up getting all over the library but it also gets all over the people viewing your book. And that makes people sad.
