and a further question on the same topic:
if two people work on the sketchbook.....
how do they buy one sketchbook under both of their names...........
or would only one person be allowed to buy the book and register........
if the two people live in different states, would both states get credit for the
authors.........
we are two sketchbook people from 2011 who met online via our blogs and who
decided it would be fun to collaborate on a book for 2012 and we're just
wondering about the logistics of such a project.
any ideas as to how it would work would be appreciated.

Hi Jill,
You can enter both artist's name in the Artist Name field when you sign up for the project. Unfortunately, however, I think you'll have to choose one State :(. Maybe you can make it apparent in the beginning of your book where you both are from. So cool to hear you met through the project and are now collaborating!

We can only do the themes that are listed on the site, but maybe there's one that could work with your idea. If not, there's always the untitled theme!

eliza.....another question. we'd like to have this year's sketchbook digitized but forgot to send the money..........we're two artists collaborating........nancie johnson and jill polsby.........i think that since nancie registered us for the sketchbook she probably has to be the one to register for digitization?
and I keep looking for the sketchbook info that i can embed in my blog...........still not available on site but i think it should be?

Hi Jill,
We're building in a feature where you can order the digitization for your book after you've already ordered the book. It should be up on the site in a couple of weeks, and you should be able to order it from any account as long as you know the submission ID number.
We'll get the buttons on the site this week too! Sorry we're a little behind on these things!

I keep looking to see the digital version of my book "Coffee and Cigarettes" and then began to wonder if I had paid to digitalize it?
1. How do I find out if I paid
2. When, if I paid, would I be able to see it online?

Last year, 2011, I, Jill Polsby, did a sketchbook by myself that I paid to have digitalized but that hasn't happened yet as far as I can tell.

We know, Nancie Johnson and myself, Jill Polsby, that we haven't paid for the sketchbook of 2012 to be digitized. We need to send the money to pay for the digitization. It's a fantastic cooperative effort! Nancie will register for the digital version when the link shows up on the 2012 page. (Unless of course it's already there, the link, that is.)

How do I find out (since I have zippo memory) if I paid extra to be included in the digitalization/published book/ etc. I think I only sent $25 which would preclude any of the extras............Can you tell me what I did and what I owe you to have the whole kit and kaboodle for this Limited Edition Sketchbook? Hi there Jill.
You have just signed up to participate ($25). In order to add the pre-order book, sign up for the package with the sketchbook and the pre-order book. Make as if you're going to purchase all, but then when you're looking at the items in your cart you can delete the sketchbook and just order (and pay for) the pre-ordered limited edition art book.
Let me know if this works for you!
As for adding digitizing later on, you can log in to your account and the go to this site: www.arthousecoop.com/digitizing. There, the projects you're participating in should be listed, and there is an option to ADD DIGITIZING in red. By clicking there, you will be prompted through the order process for that.

NUMBER ONE:

To address your questions:
you will be prompted through the ordering process.
To add digitizing to your LTD ED sketchbook, follow the directions above.
To add a pre-ordered Limited Edition art book to your order, go to the Limited Edition sign up page (http://www.arthousecoop.com/projects/sketchbookproject). Click "Participate" on the $40 option. Fill in the info and add this to your cart. Once it's in your cart, you have the option to edit the items. You can delete the actual sketchbook (since you already have one), and the pre-order book will alone remain in your cart. You can then check out and pay for just that pre-ordered book.

Caitlin!! I feel like I'm in high school again with a big exam tomorrow - or actually on the 31st!!
I took the isbn number with my name and Nancie's on it, off of the moleskin book in order to glue it to the book I'm making.
Glue went right through the label and dissolved our names and part of the isbn number.
I'm assuming you can recreate the label?.......Darn it!!!!!!!!!

Hi there. Got this year's sketchbook into the mail today, just barely beating the wire.
Put a note in with it saying that I had lost the isbn number due to some really bad glue soaking through and turning the ink to mush.
I put what numbers I could still read on the label
